Last night on Washington Week With The Atlantic<\/em>, panelists joined to discuss the signing of an agreement between the United States and Iran, and what Donald Trump\u2019s deal with the regime may mean for other countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe international community is looking at what happened not only in Iran but in Ukraine, and seeing that this idea of large powers coming in and definitively defeating other weaker nations is not necessarily the case anymore,\u201d Nancy Youssef, a staff writer at The Atlantic<\/em> argued last night.<\/p>\n

Technology is becoming \u201can equalizer on the battlefield,\u201d Youssef continued. What this may mean going forward is that militaries across the world, including the U.S., will look at their technological capabilities\u2014including drone capabilities and AI\u2014to \u201cfigure out what advances they need to make given this rapid moving and changing battlefield dynamic,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
